Remember when I told you that "mama" wood ducks protect their young by feigning broken wings to draw intruders away? Today she did what came naturally once again. I looked out our bedroom window and saw that the ducks had hatched from one of our three boxes. I ran for my camera to take a quick photo. As soon as I immerged from the backdoor "mama" began her ritual in an attempt to draw me away. I hated that I had to extend her agony for a photo but I thought it would be worth it to show the caring mom at work. God has a wonderful plan I believe.
